Friday My Town Shootout

Mary has chosen this weeks photo topic - "That which is incongruous:out of place, ridiculous, inconsistent, contradictory.

I have to apologize as it has been another hectic week getting my son ready for college. I don't have any appropriate photos from my archives for this weeks photo theme but I do have a cute one of my dog Lucky, as a puppy (on the left) with his friend Buddy. Sorry I will try to do better next week. Click on the camera on the right hand side of my blog to visit the Friday Shoot Out gang and view their take on this weeks theme.

You are SO forgiven :) - Family first, well be sure you're taking care of you first, then family...otherwise, we mother's will burn out and everything goes wrong from there.

Hope you're all happy, content and ready for the changes :)

Oh just looks at those sweet faces! I love dogs so much... Good luck with getting your son off to college. Is this his first year?

Yes this is his first year and he is my youngest. He'll be fairly close though.

Your shot was perfect! It was incongruous for the theme. How more appropriate could you get. I did like the pooches.

I'm guessing that the cute dogs are thinking that the tall bipedal mammal with the camera standing in front of them is very incongruous.

What sweet sweet dogs! They look so intelligent and loving.

Hey, GREAT movie - "I've Loved You So Long" it's in French and for us English and German and a little bit of Spanish language people (meaning me, of course) there are English subtitles.

Anyhow, I know (from watching German movies with English subtitles) that LOTS is lost in translation, but the acting is so powerful, I felt like I 'got it'. I highly recommend the film.

I'm thinking about you as you adjust to the Empty Nest...It is such a mixture of emotions, isn't it?! I would ask myself, how can I be so happy and sad...all at the same time...
This is our 3rd year of Empty Nesting. It gets easier...not easy...but easier!! Happy weekend ~Natalie
