Monday Musings

My husband and I love home-made ice cream. Thankfully, there are many stands located around Southern Maine in the summertime to feed our summer addiction. It has become our mission to seek out new places each weekend. We recently visited a fabulous place (okay, I'll admit we went twice within a week), in Moody Maine called Sundaes at the Beach. This colorfully decorated ice cream parlor with friendly staff is well worth the visit. You can create your own sundaes with delicious toppings from their Sundae bar - complete with fresh whipped cream. All their ice creams are fresh and home-made on the premises. The flavors from their ice cream menu are mostly Maine inspired - Kennebunk Kookie Dough (my personal favorite), Kennebunkport Kahlua Chip, Kittery Koffee Cookies & Cream, Mainely Maple Walnut, Old Orchard Peach, Cape Neddick Cookies & Cream, Caribou Chocolate, as well as many others. So if you are in Southern Maine, stop by this great ice cream parlor just North of Ogunquit center. Look for the bright orange building with the giant waffle cone! You can also visit their website by clicking on my sundae below.
