In The Studio:

I was on vacation a few days last week from my day job at the Library. I took advantage of the time by relaxing and also spent a few days drilling and making some new pieces of jewelry in the studio. Here's a visual of how I drill sea glass and stone.
My workspace for drilling is placing a mat on my desk with a back yard view.
I use a plastic container with a thick wood insert, filled with water.
When drilling beach stone you should choose evenly flat stones that are not too thick.

I use a flex shaft drill with diamond bit.

Drilling sea glass which is harder than stone.

Thanks for stopping by!
